BitTorrent Hosts “Gay Robot” DRM-Free

If you want to watch Adam Sandler’s new sitcom, there’s only one place to see it.

BitTorrent, the file-sharing company which is launching its own video-on-demand store in January 2007, is now hosting an exclusive pilot episode of "Gay Robot" from Sony Pictures Television. The sitcom is produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions, and it’s available via torrent download with no DRM attached.

Here’s the synopsis:

At the Alpha Tau Kappa (ATK) fraternity on the Central Illinois University campus, lives Professor Edwards??? creation… Gay Robot. Like the men of ATK, Gay Robot is just looking for love. When his fraternity brothers Tito, Rick, and Marty attempt to set him up with a compatible suitor and fail miserably, Gay Robot is left to his own devices to find a date for the formal dance.

Happy Madison is the team that brought you feature films like The Benchwarmers, The Hot Chick, and Deuce Bigalow.
