Kuler Rulers!

God only knows what they’re volitizing or sublimating in the flasks over there at the Adobe Labs, but I’m certainly getting high off the fumes.

Kuler is a tool/site/happening for web designers to create and share color schemes. Users can rate each other’s color palettes, apply their own changes and share the results. It’s like a simple social network built around a sexy, shiny color picker.

Screenshots and details after the jump.

My buddy KC sent me a link to Kuler today and I blew twenty minutes of primo work time playing with it. I was mystified by the color theme creator. It computes color relationships on the fly to suggest the most pure matches to whichever color you’re sliding around on the wheel. Tough to describe, go play.

If you have an Adobe ID, you can sign in and participate by rating community submissions. If you don’t have an Adobe ID, you can browse around and remix some colors, but you’ll need Flash Player 9 to use Kuler.

Also: coolest search throbber ever.
