Morning Reboot: Friday October 13

Reboot_4
Welcome to the Morning Reboot. We’re a little miffed about Major League Baseball’s decision to move the Oakland-Detroit game to a slot four hours earlier today. Now, instead of "beer thirty," the game starts precisely one hour after lunch, which of course forces me to go on one more MLB/RSS blackout. And that’s actually OK, because I plan on at least eight more media blackout days from here until the season’s over. Notice I didn’t say six? That’s right. Here’s your links for this Friday the 13th:

  • Microsoft and the IE7 team asks: "People, are you ready?" [MSDN]
  • "Dick Parsons, Time Warner’s chairman and CEO, says he plans to pursue copyright complaints against YouTube." [Mashable]
  • Om Malik is putting together a conference about widgets on November 6, one day before the Web 2.0 Conference kicks off in San Francisco. [GigaOM]
