Twitchy Junkies

Are you an early adopter? Do you maintain five operating systems under one roof? Do you have the coolest headphones of anyone you know? Still carry around your Tamagotchi because you just can’t let it die?

There’s a new blog just for you. It’s called AlphaJunkie. It is maintained by O’Reilly Network contributor and OSDir managing editor Steve Mallett. Steve describes the AlphaJunkie as a subgenus of AlphaGeek, or those on the “sharp end of twitch culture.”

And what exactly is twitch culture? Surround yourself with three computers, two mobile devices, an iPod, a couple of video game consoles, an HDTV, wireless broadband, and a raging torrent of RSS feeds, and you just might find yourself getting a little twitchy. Do you love the feeling? You are an AlphaJunkie. Welcome to the revolution.
