Zoho People: Manage Your Company’s HR Needs From the Web
Zoho has rolled out a new addition, Zoho People, to its online business software suite. Zoho People is a human resource management app designed to help HR departments track hiring, projects, vacation time and more.
The application is part of Zoho’s business suite and probably doesn’t have much appeal for the average user. Rather Zoho People is geared toward larger companies looking for a one-stop shop to track recruiting, IT resource allocation, benefits, vacations, skill management and more.
Zoho freely admits that People is “targeted at a level beyond the very small (say 50+ employee) businesses.” In fact, as the Zoho Blog notes, small businesses can keep track of people using existing tools — spreadsheets anyone? However for larger organizations looking to embrace web apps, Zoho People adds another tool to the shed.
