Introduction

What you'll need
This tutorial is designed for Linux. I will update it later with some Windows and Mac tips.
You will need:
- A SSH client: Most Linux/UNIX installations include a SSH client. If for some reason you do not have one, you can download the OpenSSH tools.
- Java Runtime Environment: EC2 client command line tools require Java 5 or later. Get either the JDK (Java Development Kit) or JRE (Java Runtime Environment) from http://java.sun.com. Please, be sure to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable after installation.
