Project 3
Self-portrait

If somebody asked your pal Bob what you looked like, Bob could show them a picture. But would that really give them much information about you? Using a digital camera and a few simple questions, you can make a self-portrait that's a little more complete. (Be sure to get your parents' permission first, though - they may not want you putting your cute little face all over the Internet.)

1. Click on the little picture to the right to see a sample self-portrait. Click the Powered by Webmonkey button when you're ready to come back here.

Let's see the example
2. Take some pictures of yourself with a digital camera. You'll need one of your head, one of your belly, one of your hand, one of your legs, and one of your feet. You might want to take a bunch of pictures so you can try out different combinations.

3. Think of answers to these five questions:

What do you think?
What do you eat?
What do you do?
Where do you go?
Where do you stand?

4. Go back to our sample page and look at the source code. Copy this code and paste it into your text editor (if you don't have one, look in our Tools section).

5. Change the HTML code so it has your pictures instead of ours. We left some hints and instructions in the code to help you along.

6. You'll also need to change the answer pages so they have your answers to all of the questions instead of ours. Be creative and have fun!
