What Is Quiiiz & What Does It Offer?
Quiiiz is a real money gaming app that's available for iOS and desktop right now. And the idea behind the app is to let players compete in skill-based trivia matches to win cash prizes.
You can sign up for Quiiiz with your email on its website or after you download its iPhone app. From there, you're ready to get in on the action and begin playing.
Now, Quiiiz has free trivia games available if you want to have fun and put your skills to the test. However, most games require paying an entry fee to buy an entry ticket you use to take part in the tournament.
If you emerge victorious at the end of the trivia game, you walk away with the cash prize pool. If you fall short, you lose your entry fee.
This paid to play app caters to competitive gamers who want a challenge and the chance to win some pretty serious side cash. If you're strictly a free mobile gamer, you should stick with no deposit games instead.
Anyways, onto the gameplay!
How Do Quiiiz Games Work?
Quiiiz has a variety of trivia games going on at any given time. You can find these in the Lobby either via its mobile app or the desktop version.
Games display how much the buy-in fee is and what the total prize pool is. Most games are head-to-head matches so you're only against one person. In our account, a lot of games cost around $2 to $4 to enter and paid out around $3 to $8 based on the entry fee.
This means that in many cases, you're almost doubling your money if you win. Ties result in a prize split. And I like that there's so many types of trivia games available. Here are a few of the different quizzes, entry fees, and prize pools that we saw:
- General Knowledge: $2 entry, $3 prize pool
- Famous Movies: free entry, no prize (!?)
- Music Trivia: $2 entry, $3 prize pool
- Quick & Easy Math: $4 entry, $7 prize pool
- Image Trivia: $5 entry, $8 prize pool
- Rapid Geography: $5 entry, $8 prize pool
- Rapid Bible: $5 entry, $8 prize pool
- Rapid General: $10 entry, $17 prize pool
As you can see, this is a very diverse range of topics. And new games launch all the time, so you can enter more from the lobby.
It's also worth noting that Quiiiz also runs Time-Based Tournaments. These are larger games with 50 to 200+ players you have to reserve your spot in with a ticket. When the game begins, it's an elimination style trivia game that keeps going until there's one player left.
These tournaments have larger prize pools in the $50 range. The entry fee is more expensive, but it's nice that there's a range of games to play. And, occasionally, there's a freeroll tournament every few hours you can enter and potentially snag some free cash.
Finally, there was also a one-on-one quiz to win a single raffle ticket for a periodic $888 raffle.

How Does Quiiiz Gameplay Work?
On to the gameplay. We tried out one of the free games, and actually, we liked what we saw.
Games are quick: in the one we played, there were only 5 questions. Each question had four options to choose from. You get 12 seconds to answer the question, so there's no time to Google answers. There's a slide at the top of the screen that moves down as the clock ticks away; the faster you answer a question, the more points you score.
After every question, scores get tallied so you see who is winning. We liked the fast gameplay, the point amounts that decay as the timer counts down, and the overall layout of the gameplay screen.
One thing we should mention is that these are live games. Many gaming apps, like Bingo Cash or Solitaire Smash, let players to compete at separate times and then compare scores later to find a winner.
Not so with Quiiiz: if an opponent hasn’t arrived yet, you’ll have to wait. This is unavoidable due to the nature of the gameplay: it’s built on the ticking clock. If you can answer questions more quickly than your opponent, you’ll get more points.
The drawback to this style of gameplay is that if you enter a game, you’ll have to wait there until someone else comes along to take the competitor spot. This may not be a huge deal but the way the app is designed you can’t leave the game lobby while you’re waiting unless you close the app.
Also note that if you enter a Time-Based Tournament but forget to join when it goes live, you lose your entry ticket and can't get into the game after it starts.
Rewards & Cashing Out
If you win a Quiiiz game, money deposits in your account. You can then cash out via PayPal or with a bank transfer. This is also how you can deposit money into your account to pay entry fees for cash games.
I couldn't find information about the withdrawal minimum for Quiiiz. But the company says you can request a withdrawal anytime, and that withdrawal fees can vary based on the amount and method you use.
I like the fact that you can earn cash or PayPal money for playing games. But again, Quiiiz is only worth using if you deposit money to compete.
