Parallels Beta Resolves Some Leopard Issues

Zz43205a33Parallels, the popular virtualization solution for Mac users wanting to run Windows, doesn’t quite work with Apple’s newly released OS X Leopard, but a new beta is available that might solve some people’s headaches.

The new release build of Parallels Desktop 3 (build 5570) addresses a number of issues and includes some improvements to the migration tools used to load Boot Camp partitions into Parallels disk images.

This is the second Parallels beta in recent weeks to address Leopard specific issues.

The new version is an a 88 MB download which you can grab from the Parallels site. As with any beta software, make sure you have current backups of all your data before taking the plunge.
