Luckmon Review – Is This Gaming Rewards App Legit?

The app currently has over 250,000 downloads on the Google Play Store. It’s also available on iOS, which isn’t something you usually see from gaming apps that pay.

The entire idea of the app is to reward gamers for the time they spend playing. And if you’ve ever used other gaming reward apps like Mistplay, TapChamps, and Cash Giraffe, then Luckmon should feel quite familiar to you.

This is a pretty cool mission, and if you spend time playing games on your phone, Luckmon could be a fun way to earn free PayPal cash and gift cards without any extra effort.

Is Luckmon Legit?

Yes, Luckmon is legit and lets you earn rewards for playing new games. The app is highly rated on the Google Play store with over 250,000 downloads, and it’s a fun way to explore new games while getting paid.

While the app is newer than some of the other options out there, so far players and investors seem impressed, and it looks like more options and expansion is in the works for the future.

I also like that Luckmon has an iPhone app in addition to its Android app, since it’s hard to find iPhone games that pay due to differences in Apple’s app store policy.

How Does Luckmon Work?

I downloaded Luckmon to test it out for this review, and the app is very beginner-friendly. All-in-all, the app takes four simple steps to use:

1. Download Luckmon
2. Play new games to earn gems
3. Earn daily bonuses
4. Cash out

Let’s take a look at how each of these steps works in a bit more detail.

1. Download Luckmon

Luckmon is free to download on Android and iOS and is available in the United States and Canada but is working to expand to other countries. You also have to be 18 or older to download the app.

Once you download the app, you create an account with your email address or Google account and you’re off to the races!

You also get a small welcome bonus of some starting gems to help you hit the ground running, which is nice to see.

2. Play Games To Earn Gems

The main way to earn rewards with Luckmon is to download new games and play them.

The app rewards you as you play different games with in-game loyalty points, known as gems. You can then redeem your gems for a variety of rewards like various free gift cards, Visa gift cards, and PayPal money.

What’s nice about Luckmon is that it has a variety of genres you can find games for, including action, puzzle, adventure, strategy, and word games.

Luckmon also develops its own original, in-house games that you can play right from its app, which is quite unique.

I also like that Luckmon pays you gems when you achieve certain in-game goals, like reaching a certain amount of playtime or level in the game. For example, I downloaded a solitaire game when testing Luckmon and received 20 gems for playing for 17 minutes. I also received an additional 70 gems for reaching a certain EXP level.

Games also have a gem-rating which determines how many gems you earn for completing missions, with higher ratings meaning more gems.

3. Earn Daily Bonuses

Another way to earn gems with Luckmon involves earning daily bonuses. Every day you login to the app, you unlock tickets for spins at the gem wheel. The more consecutive days you login, the more tickets and spins you earn, with day 7 letting you spring the gem wheel to earn bonuses.

You also earn tickets as you play games, complete missions, and complete short in-app surveys, so there are several ways to unlock more spins.

This is a fun gamification feature that I wish more gaming reward apps had since it helps encourage players to use the app more frequently.

4. Cash Out

You can redeem your Luckmon gems for a variety of rewards, including PayPal money, Visa gift cards, and a variety of gift cards to companies like:

This is a nice variety of rewards, and I like that cash is also an option alongside free gift cards. Plus, some rewards, like Amazon gift cards, are available at just $5 for 900 gems, which doesn't take too long to earn.

If you want to cash out or check your progress towards various rewards, you can click on the shop tab at the top of the app. It will show you how many points you have and how close you are to achieving the different reward options. 

To cash out, you do need to provide and verify your phone number. However, this only takes moments to provide and is necessary to verify your account.

How Much Does Luckmon Pay?

How much Luckmon pays depends on how many games you download and how long you spend playing each week. If you’re a regular mobile gamer, earning $5 to $25 per month or a bit more should be quite feasible with this app.

Again, think of Luckmon as a fun side hustle and chance to explore new games, not a full-time online job.

Gaming reward apps won’t make anyone rich. But if you already spend time playing games on your smartphone, you might as well get paid for the time you spend playing!
