When I was in college, I was always trying out new side hustle ideas to try and boost my weekly income. This was largely to cover things like tuition and rent and to also have more disposable income.
Between a part-time gig, online hustles, and working at an advertising agency, I was able to get by. And that's why today, I'm sharing some of my all-time favorite side hustles that can help you make $250 a week.
This type of money can help you cover groceries, rent, and daily expenses. And the best part is some of these ideas can pay you immediately and don't require experience to get started.

Moonlighting involves having a second job or gig alongside your regular day job. And it's called moonlighting since it generally involves freelancing on the side and at night after your nine-to-five.
This is one of the main ways I made more money during school and even after graduation. For me, I began making money with freelance writing, SEO consulting, and my blog alongside my day job.
The advantage of moonlighting is that you can often leverage skills from your day job for your new hustle. Plus, moonlighting can be incredibly flexible and high-paying.

My friends and I have made money in the past with snow removal and landscaping. Some other common odd jobs that pay well include:

- Cleaning houses

- Helping people move
- Pet sitting (you can find clients with apps like Rover)

This money-making idea is simple, but it works. If you can find a part-time gig that's flexible, it's pretty easy to earn $250 in extra income each week.
Weekend jobs like bartending or serving are particularly effective here. Some of my friends make a few hundred dollars each weekend by working in nightclubs and high-end restaurants. The same goes for working at golf clubs or sporting venues.

Microtask websites involve completing short online tasks to get paid. Usually, this involves completing tasks like data entry, transcription, image annotation, and similar tasks that can't always be automated.
I've used plenty of these sites to make money online over the years. And the advantage of these websites is that they are perfect for beginners and let you begin earning quickly.

The downside of microtask gigs is that you can only make about $5 to $10 per hour, and that's if you're speedy. So, making $250 a week with these sites can be a challenge.
