Bridge Money App Review – A New Passive Income App!
If you want to earn rewards when you shop, there are dozens of rewards apps you can use. And this is an excellent way to save extra money each month for your daily shopping.
However, many leading reward apps require uploading receipts or completing sponsored offers to earn. If you're looking for something more passive, these apps won't work. That's why Bridge Money, a new and passive rewards app, is so exciting.
This app pays you with passive cash back whenever you shop for anything. And it also has a range of other earning options if you're willing to put in a bit of effort.
This review is covering everything you need to know about the app so you can decide if it's worth the download.

What Is Bridge Money?
Bridge Money is a new cashback rewards app that's available in the United States on both Android and iOS devices.
The app lets you earn cashback automatically on any card you shop with once you link it to your account. It also offers a range of other earning options, including cash surveys, referral bonuses, gaming offers, and more.
The Bridge Money app is similar to passive income apps like Pogo and Dosh that pay you whenever you shop. And if you're tired of uploading shopping receipts or jumping through hoops to earn with other apps, Bridge could be the right app for you.
How Does The Bridge Money App Work?
Signing up for Bridge Money is free, and you create an account with your email address and then confirm your phone number.
From there, the main way to earn coins, the in-app currency, is to link your debit and credit cards to the app and to shop. Bridge Money then pays you with coins every time you shop with a linked debit card. You also earn cashback on any debit card purchases from the previous two weeks, which is a nice way to score some free money.
Transactions generally pay 2 to 20 coins, which is worth $0.02 to $0.20. You can cash out once you earn 400 coins, and my favorite aspect of Bridge Money is that all of this happens on autopilot.
In other words, you don't have to scan barcodes or receipts to earn rewards. Instead, just link your cards to the app and then get paid to shop automatically.
Just note that you have to tap “claim” on coins within the app to actually earn from a purchase. Coins never expire once they're claimed, but you have seven days to claim coins following a purchase, so remember to login to the app regularly.
Other Ways To Earn Coins
Shopping with linked cards is the best way to earn passive income with the Bridge Money app. However, it offers other earning options, including:
- Answering in-app surveys for money
- Watching videos
- Selling your data with Bridge Money's data royalty program
- Playing games for money
- Inviting your friends to join with Bridge Money's referral program
- Logging into the app everywhere
- Shopping for “Daily Drop” sponsored offers from hand-picked merchants
- Winning weekly giveaways
I like the fact that Bridge Money lets you earn passive income but also has more active offers like referral bonuses, gaming offers, and surveys. And I also like that it pays you with bonuses for logging in everyday and has some hand-picked cashback offers.
Overall, the app feels like a blend between passive apps like Dosh and more active ones like Drop, so it's the best of both worlds.
Bridge Money Earn+ Program
If you're serious about earning with the Bridge Money app, you can upgrade to its Earn+ program to gain even more coins.
This membership costs a minimum of $1 per month and lets you choose how much you pay. Currently, it unlocks perks like:
- Instant payments when you cash out
- A lower 100 coin cash out minimum
- 5x the coins for one category you choose
- 10x the coins from one merchant you choose
- 2x the coins on every other purchase and activity
- A 5% weekly bonus on all coins you claim
Additionally, Earn+ members can open a Bridge Savings account. This savings account currently pays a whopping 5% APY, and you can move money from your Bridge Money balance into this account as well to begin building it up.
How Does Bridge Money Pay You?
Most transactions pay you about $0.02 to $0.20 worth of coins. However, you can earn a lot more by completing shopping offers, playing games, and completing surveys. Overall, how much you make with Bridge Money depends on how much you shop and how much effort you put in.
If you want to keep things passive, you can probably earn an easy $5 per month or so. And you can earn much more if you upgrade to Earn+ and complete some of the more active offers.
How Much Does Bridge Money Pay?
Bridge Money pays you to your bank account that you link to the app. This means your coins are worth free cash, not free gift cards or sweepstake entries, which I like.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Earn passive rewards for shopping
- Numerous active offers to earn even more
- Available on Android and iOS
- Low cash out minimum
- Pays you with real cash
- Earn+ helps you earn even more
Cons:
- Only available in the United States
- Lower earning potential if you don't engage with more active offers
Other Bridge Money Reviews
I always like to read reviews from other users when researching or trying a new money-making app or side hustle. This is because it's useful to hear from other real users about the pros and cons of an app before giving it a try.
Thankfully, there are plenty of Bridge Money app reviews on the iOS and Google Play Store where users share their experiences. Here's what some recent users are saying:
- Kool Kat says: “I downloaded this app a little more than a month ago and have already earned $17. I received the money in my checking account within 3 to 5 days. I only watch the ads and linked my cards.”
- Christopher Howsare says: “Can get coins(money) quickly but I've been. Trying to cash out 12 bucks every day for a week and keep getting a technical error. App's pointless if I can't cash out.”
- Matt Majocha says: “I rarely write reviews because most apps aren't worth the time, but this app by far has worked better for me than any other cash back app. I am currently a earn plus subscriber and it has been very smooth and very well.”
If you read even more reviews, it's clear that many people love how passive Bridge Money is and that it basically makes money on autopilot. Many users also enjoy the Earn+ program and boosted rewards.
Most negative reviews come from people who have problems linking their cards to Bridge Money or have issues with cashing out. If this happens to you, your best bet is to contact support via the app to get assistance.
The Best Apps Like Bridge Money
I think Bridge Money is an excellent side hustle app, and I like that it has both passive and active earning options.
However, you can also stack Bridge Money with other apps and websites to maximize your savings. Some of my favorite reward apps include:
- Pogo: This app pays you with free PayPal cash when you shop with a linked card.
- Fetch: A popular grocery rewards app with gift card prizes.
- Ibotta: One of the leading reward apps in the United States.
- Dosh: Another passive earning app like Bridge Money.
- Caden: An iOS data sharing app that pays around $3 to $15 per month.
- Benjamin: This app pays you to shop, play games, watch ads, and more!
- Rakuten: This shopping extension is my favorite way to earn cashback from online purchases.
- P&G Good Everyday: Find coupons, exclusive deals, and earn free gift cards!
- ReceiptJar: A free app that pays you for taking photos of receipts.
My video also shares some of my all-time favorite reward apps. And you can also use tactics like credit card rewards, coupons, and in-store loyalty programs to earn as much as possible whenever you shop.
Is The Bridge Money App Safe?
Yes, Bridge Money is safe, and the app uses Plaid to securely link your bank account and cards to your account. Plaid is the same company many leading FinTech and investing apps use to keep customer data anonymous and secure.
You can read Bridge Money's privacy policy and terms of use for more information on the data the app collects and to decide if it's right for you.
Customer Support
You can contact Bridge Money support within the app Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm CT.

Final Thoughts
I've been using reward apps and gpt apps ever since college to make and save more money. And this also means I've tested out or written about dozens of these apps in this time.
These days, finding a passive app is pretty rare. And a lot of the apps that used to be passive, like Drop, ended up becoming a lot more active and difficult to earn with.
This is why Bridge Money is exciting. I like the fact that you can get paid to do nothing but shop with a linked card if that's all you want. And there are still plenty of active offers you can use if you're willing to hustle a bit more.
Sure, this app won't make you thousands of dollars a month. But it's a reliable way to get free money the next time you go shopping.
