10+ Best Side Hustles That Pay Daily
Starting a new side hustle is an amazing way to boost your monthly income. And I've been testing out new side hustle ideas ever since my time in school to make more money on the side.
But while side gigs are awesome, one common downside is a lot of them take a long time to pay. If you need quick money, this isn't ideal.
That's why this post is covering some of my favorite side hustles that pay daily you can use to get fast cash.
I've tested out plenty of these ideas as well and still make money with several of them every day. You can do the same with one or more of the ideas in this list.
The Best Side Hustles That Pay Daily
Some of the ideas in this list involve earning money online. In contrast, some hustles are local cash gigs or odd jobs you can use to make some side money.
Think about if you prefer online or in-person work and what your skills are. Then, choose one (or more) of these hustles and get to work!
1. Online Surveys
Online survey websites are one of the easiest daily pay side hustles out there. And I've been testing these sites for 5+ years since my college days.
There are also plenty of surveys that pay cash instantly you can use to get paid the same day. Some of my favorites include:
All of these survey sites let you earn PayPal money and free gift cards. And my YouTube video I linked above shares even more info about my top survey sites.
Personally, I use Branded Surveys and Swagbucks the most since both have a quick $5 cash out minimum. But you can stack several sites to maximize your daily pay.
2. Sell Stuff Online
Have a lot of clutter around your home or in storage? If so, you can always try selling things for cash if you need money the same day.
My family has done this in the past by hosting a garage sale. Some of the easiest things to sell quickly includes:
- Clothing
- Electronics
- Jewelry (you can use Worthy.com to sell jewelry and diamonds)
- Sports equipment
- Tools
- Toys
- Watches
- Vehicles
You can host a garage sale like I've done to start selling. Using local selling sites like the Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or OfferUp can also work. Alternatively, online selling apps or turning to your local pawn shop can also help you make a sale.
3. Food Delivery Gigs
If you have access to a car, bike, or scooter, you can always use food delivery apps to make more money.
The gig economy is ripe with opportunities to hustle for daily cash. And many delivery apps let you redeem your earnings daily if you pay a small fee.
Several leading delivery gigs include:
All of these gigs pay you to deliver food or groceries and keep a flexible schedule. And again, you can pay a small fee to cash out your daily earnings if you need money right now.
My friends have made money with DoorDash and Uber Eats throughout school. If you hustle, making $100 to $150 a day or even more is possible, especially in a busy market.
4. Freelance Writing
These days, I make a lot of my income as a freelance writer. In fact, I've been writing for more than four years at this point, and I now travel the world as a digital nomad, making money on my laptop.
Writing is also a lucrative side hustle that pays daily. This is because many clients and writing gigs pay you per word that you write, and you can invoice after finishing an article.
Some writing gigs pay monthly or weekly. However, there are plenty of clients and roles out there that pay much faster, and this is for any writing niche!
My YouTube video covers some of the best ways to find writing gigs if you're interested in getting started.
You can also check out my eBook, Freelance Writing For Freedom. This eBook covers the exact steps I used to scale to a six-figure writing income, including how to pitch editors and find your first gigs.
5. Microtask Sites
Microtask websites pay you for completing short and easy online tasks. And many of the top sites pay you with real money and have low cash out requirements.
Some of the most popular microtask sites I've tested out in the past include:
My video covers how these microtask work and how you can get started with them.
Just note that these sites tend to pay about $5 to $7 per hour at most. So, while you can hustle and get paid daily, these aren't full-time online jobs.
6. Play Games For Money
Did you know it's possible to earn money playing video games?
That's right: there are actually dozens of apps that pay you for playing games out there. So, you can turn your next gaming session into a chance to earn cash and gift cards.
Some of the best cash gaming apps that let you cash out quickly include:
- Cash Giraffe (Android)
- Rewarded Play (Android)
- Buff (PC)
- Match To Win (iOS)
- Mistplay (Android)
My YouTube video shares even more of my favorite game apps, including games that pay PayPal money. And all of these apps just take a day or two to cash out with.
7. Do Cash Odd Jobs
If you're willing to put in some manual labor, another category of daily pay side hustles are cash odd jobs.
You can use odd job apps like Taskrabbit or Craigslist to find local cash gigs. Some of the highest-paying gigs include:
- Babysitting
- Cleaning
- Helping people move
- Junk removal
- Landscaping
- Painting
- Pet grooming or sitting
- Snow removal
- Window washing
8. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing involves promoting products and services from other companies in exchange for commissions when you make a sale.
If you know how to build an online audience, affiliate marketing can be incredibly lucrative. And it's also possible to turn affiliate marketing into a daily income source.
Personally, I make $1,000 a day or even more sometimes from affiliate marketing. One of my recent YouTube videos describes the exact steps I took to get here, including how I've scaled my online audience.
I love affiliate marketing since it can also turn into a nice passive income source over time. And many networks pay you daily or weekly if you reach a certain cash out requirement.
9. Start A Blog
Blogging is another side hustle that can pay you every day. And while it takes a while to get a blog up and running, the income potential is massive.
For example, I made $1,700 in my first year of blogging at WebMonkey. But in my fifth year, WebMonkey made $272,000 between Mediavine ads, affiliate income, and sponsorships.
My blog now makes $20k a month or even more. And all of these income streams generate income every single day as people read my blog.
Again, it took years to build this brand and website. But if you focus on creating valuable, quality content, you can find success with a blog and begin making money online.
10. Other Freelance Gigs
Freelance writing is one of my favorite side hustles that pays daily. But it's just one example of how to earn through freelancing.
Plenty of other industries and gigs are perfect for freelancing, including:
- Accounting
- Bookkeeping
- Editing content
- Data entry
- Digital marketing
- Proofreading
- Online tutor
- SEO expert
- Transcription
- Video editing
- Virtual assistant
I've found freelance gigs in the past by using websites like LinkedIn and Upwork, and this is where I suggest starting.
You can also use freelancer websites like FlexJobs to find flexible, high-paying online jobs and freelancer roles, even as a complete beginner!
11. Website Tester
Website testing gigs are a great way for beginners to make money online. And the top websites also pay you with PayPal cash and process payments within a day or two.
As a website tester, it's your job to test new apps and sites that are in development and then provide feedback.
Tests generally take 15 to 20 minutes and pay about $10 on average for most sites. Some of the top user-testing companies out there that pay you to test apps and websites include:
You can also try online focus groups and paid market research websites alongside these testing gigs. User Interviews and Respondent are my two favorites, and each platform can help you find high-paying, paid research opportunities.
12. Mystery Shopper
One last side hustle to make money daily you can try is to use mystery shopping apps.
These apps are a type of reward app that pay you for completing short tasks, like walking into stores or taking photos of product displays. And you can use these apps to earn small amounts of extra cash while exploring your city.
Some of my favorite mystery shopping gig apps include:
These apps won't make hundreds of dollars per day. But you can make $5 fast or so on your next shopping trip and cash out the same day with these types of money-making apps.
Tips For Starting These Side Hustles
After trying out hundreds of hustles and apps to make money in the last few years, I've learned more about the ingredients to a successful side hustle. So, here are some of the most important pieces of advice you can use when getting started:
- Always Set Goals: Decide on your daily, weekly, and monthly income targets so you can hold yourself accountable while hustling.
- Stack Several Hustles: In my experience, stacking side hustles helps you find out which ones you enjoy and don't like. Trying several hustles also helps you make more money overall as you find what works for you.
- Stay Consistent: Even small habits can stack up over time to yield impressive results. My advice is to try and spend time developing your new hustles every day or week, even if it's only 30 minutes to an hour at a time.
How Much Money Can You Make?
Side hustles that pay you daily can pay a full-time income or just become a source of beermoney. How much you make depends on the skills you're selling, the time you put in, and many other factors.
Certain business models or hustles also have different income potentials. For example, I now make a full-time income from blogging and YouTube. But ideas like online surveys or reward apps pay much less than this.
Final Thoughts
Now that you know some daily pay side hustles, I hope that you're ready to get to work and make some cash!
There are so many ways to diversify your monthly income. And a lot of these ideas can yield daily payments and scale into a serious source of income.
Just play to your strengths and set an overall income goal. If you're consistent, there's no reason you can't find success with any of the side hustle ideas on this list.
Best of luck!
